American black culture has impacted, uplifted, inspired, and led the way to opening doors to millions all over the globe, yet simultaneously, not many have a correct grasp of the roots of that very culture, and the heart, spirit, soul, love, legend, and revolution of the collective of people behind it at the personal, social, experiential, community, and human level.

My name is Riki Yvette Westmoreland. I am an Actress & Edu-tainer and Cultural Activist for traditional & foundational American Black culture. I created a fictional characted named "Josephine Brown" who is a black activist and revolutionary, in the spirit of black leaders from the 1970s and prior including Civil Rights and more. Josephine Brown tells stories of her time, shares correct and reparative narratives about her culture and brings back the spirit of the old in a unique way into the new.

My goal is to have Josephine Brown do street tours locally around town and to do street interviews of folk, guest appearances,  character performances, live intereactive shows, talk to youth groups for upliftment, speaking events, Q&As, and more throughout the rest of 2019, doing character performances and Q&A's to carry on and share the legacy of the American black people and their perservarance, as a means to honor, preserve, protect, celebratem repair, and uplift one of the most profoundly worldwide known and emulated cultures in modern-day. And someday... I plan to take her on tour nationally!

You can help me get a real boost in taking "Josephine Brown" into the world to embark on her incredible journey, and to also give back to the community that "created her," as I will give back to American black communities that are overlooked and misrepresented, and to youth throughout my travels/touring.
