Known by her family and childhood friends as "odd," and for her unconventional, adaptable approach to life, living, and free-spirited resilience, Riki’s journey is rooted in triumph over adversity. From navigating foster care, adult abuse, sexual assault, and overcoming suicidal depression, she discovered empowerment and purpose through creativity and curiosity that started as a little girl. Her childhood escapes into imaginative, otherworldly tales became the early foundation of her calling: crafting character stories and become her own heroine in vast multidimensional landscapes, which would be the very thing that would become her quiet, internal therapy through hardships throughout her life. Her internal stories evolved, and continued to inspire courage within her ushering in her own powerful personal metamorphosis. And one day she would get to harness it all and share it with the world impacting billions.
Riki Yvette Westmoreland is a multi-award-winning independent actress and understated trailblazer whose evocative acting has captivated audiences worldwide. With over 100 roles throughout her acting career overall, online, screen, and stage, she garnered several awards for her signature emotive performace style, and for being a "chameleon." She gained significant notoriety after joining as the first actress and regular lead with a inspirational unknown start up series at the time, Dhar Mann. As the platform grew, Riki's evocative acting captivated the fast growing audience, which eventually became an internationally viral series with billions of views. As the original OG and talent pioneer Riki's authentic, deep, and viscerally-felt performances laid the emotional and cultural foundation from the onset of the series that the fans came to love, and her unparalleled ability to connect with and move audiences became a cornerstone of the show's identity, along with fellow actor and friend she would star with frequently, with the late and gifted Carl Judie--leaving and indelible mark on the series and a legacy that lives on today.
